Sunday Services
We love having visitors and guests at our Sunday morning services, held every week. The services consists of a lesson sermon provided by The Mother Church to all Christian Science churches. The same lesson is read worldwide. The lesson sermon is comprised of readings selected from the Bible and correlative selections from our textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. The services also include hymn singing, a solo, and prayer. All are welcome.
Our churches follow Jesus’ instruction to us all, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also: and greater works than these shall he do;” John 14:12.
Child care is lovingly provided at all Sunday services and upon request on Wednesdays. Please come visit us, we would love to have you.
Sunday Schools
Our Sunday schools are for young people up to the age of 20, and are usually held year-round and at the same time as the Sunday services.
Wednesday Testimony Meetings
Every Wednesday evening we hold testimony meetings at the church locations. Visitors are welcome at these services also. Readings on a chosen subject are prepared by our First Reader and read from the King James version of the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. After the readings, the congregation is invited to share remarks and testimonies of healing. Hymn singing and prayer are included at the meetings.
Testifiers from the congregation tell about experiences they have had in daily life, how they prayed, how effective their prayerful study was, and the inspiration they gained. Physical, emotional and relationship problems, as well as other everyday challenges can all be healed through the study of Christian Science.
Reading Rooms
Everyone is welcome to visit our Reading Rooms.
A Christian Science Reading Room is a resource for the whole community. It is a place to find out about the healing work demonstrated by Christ Jesus and explained by Mary Baker Eddy in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
In the Reading Rooms you will find Bible study reference books, biographies of Mary Baker Eddy, periodicals which explain the healing practice of Christian Science, weekly Bible lessons, music CDs, and the Christian Science Monitor, which has provided readers, since 1908, with a spiritual perspective of the news of the world. These items are available to be read in a quiet atmosphere, to be borrowed from our lending libraries, or purchased. During the time our Reading Rooms are open, knowledgeable and loving librarians are available to assist you.
The computers in the Reading Rooms have software to search the Bible and the writings of Mary Baker Eddy for references on any subject. We also have software to search the titles of helpful articles which are in our Bound Volumes of Christian Science periodicals covering over 100 years.
Please visit our Publications Page to explore a variety of on-line resources for spiritual study and for information about Christian Science.
